Logged on and got a touched today with the following. Does this mean it's going to CSC? If not, how can I find out where it's going? What would be the local office in Alexandria, VA?

i am from WV and mine was fowarded to California Service Center, still haven't heard from them till now. Checked the processing date and it saif I-485 takes 6 months from when they got it. oh well.

We had our bio, then a request for additional paperwork, and we are still waiting.

It has been 1 1/2 months.

The wait is the worst part.

Yes, we've had our biometric appointment. Had one touch on 11/07/2007 and now this. Greg&Dolly, how did you know it went to California Service Center. Does it tell you specifically or something generic like this? I'm hopping it went to the CSC as I've heard people are getting their Greencard without an Interview.

When I checked my case yesterday, I saw this notice, which does say that my case is being transferred to California. I'm not sure where they would have sent your application if not CSC. Good luck anyway.

Well, not all AOS cases go to CSC. Many of them still go to their local office and are interviewed.

Yup, that's the email you get once it has been transferred to CSC. The OP should, in theory, have had an update similar to this, stating the office to which it was transferred before the email/update saying it was pending.

They do often send out a copy in the post too.

It didn't say which office it's going to. How do I find out what my local office is so I can read up on it? I never received an email or update that they were sending it to xyz office.

After the biometric my online case just said Pending. Got one touch after that (could be due to change of address). Afterwards, this update. I guess I'll just have to hang in there and wait.

The same thing happened to me, except we've been watching the web site every day. My wife had her biometrics in Saint Paul at 11:00 A.M. on November 2. I first logged into the site on November 7 and discovered the EAD had been approved on November 6. The following day I checked and received a notice dated November 7 that the AOS was being forwarded to the California Service Center. Early last week it was updated to say it had arrived at the CSC. A day later I received the same notice as you. I just checked again and have the same notice dated November 15, which I swear is dated later than when I first received the message. Point is that they seem to be updating this frequently and I would never have know what service center it was sent to if I hadn't seen the first notice. I can only suggest you call the telephone number listed below the notice. I would think they would be able to tell you which office it was sent to. By the way, my wife received her card for the EAD last Friday.
