June and July filers - NVC to Interview

Question:

Does anyone know...do these DHL packages most often contain more than ONE petition? My petition was recieved the 5th or 6th and a package was sent out late afternoon on the 6th...could mine be in that? I know of one other couple from Egypt that was approved the day before me. And that is the only package that went out...would mine have made it into that one maybe?? They are closed today...so I can't call..and its driving me NUTS.

Do you know when your package was sent to NVC. NVC will tell you if you call them, and then you can use this tip posted in http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=98172 to help track your package. Best of luck!

Forgot to mention, I think they send it one at a time for cases in Egypt as their aren't enough to send out many applicants at once. The last shipment I found with tracking number 8178539014 shipped out from NVC on Dec 3 to Cairo, Egypt and only weighted 1lb, thats probably who you are referring to.

You went from NOA-2 to Interview date in a tad more than one month !! Incredible !!

I was just notified yesterday (after a phone call to the NVC) that my I-129F arrived, finally, at the NVC, after 30 days of waiting since the NOA-2. Given the track-record, I will be lucky to have an interview date in March, if things go as to the norm, for the Consualte in Guangzhou, China (GUZ).

At least I finally got the NVC arrival notice, after that long, long, wait for NOA-2 out of the CSC.

Again, lucky, lucky, lucky, with such an abbreviated timeline. I will trade you my PC for your timeline !!!

I've just tried that DHL stuff. I know from calling that my package was entered into NVC system on the 6th. There is a package bound for london that left on the 7th. What do you think my chances are that mine is in there?

if it is I could maybe get packet 3 this week Get medical sorted hopefully early jan and send other stuff back moreor less straight away. Hoping for mid feb interview.....oh I hope it's possible.

Feeling more confident about being able to head over maybe 2nd week in march. Not coping well with this alone stuff at all. Just hope medical and interview go smoothly.

You'll be absolutely fine!! Remember - these things are sent to test us - there aren't many couples who have to go through what we have to and I am pretty certain that most would crumble under the pressure It'll just make victory taste all the sweeter

I'm still waiting to get an interview date. I will call and check to see if they have anything scheduled at the end of the week.
