Hey everyone, Peter had his medical today and it went smoothly. We also got our INTERVIEW date assigned....it's not til APRIL FIRST...is this an omen???? LOL. I just don't understand why it's so long til his interview when everyone else seems to be getting it a week or two within their medical. He put on the papers our wedding date was March 19. It's not FAIR! *pout* Does anyone know if there's anything we can do to change it ...I'm off work for ten days in the middle of March. grrrrrr.

Hmmm - I am sure if you tried to contact the embassy and explain then they might move it forward - there seems to be no reason for it to be so late if others have theirs much earlier... Must be worth a try at least anyway - not sure how you go about contacting the embassy though - isn't there some really lame long-winded way or something?!

There probably is some way to move it up, but we decided to deal with it....got our plane tickets today. He'll be here April 14th. I'm so excited! We could use the extra time to pay another month's worth of his bills before he comes over and I'll have more time to sew stuff for our wedding. Thanks for the help though!

Well, it looks like we can see the end of the (very long) tunnel.

I surprised Maria with a visit 2/16. We went to Palawan and had a wonderful time. I don't like it when I have to leave her there and come home.

We received interview date 4/3 but we asked that it be moved to 4/23 so I can go with her. I'll return on 4/19.

Now we're set, just finalizing trip plans. I hope we can spend a few days in Hong Kong then in San Francisco before we come home to Florida.

I'm thinking about SFO for POE for Maria.

Does anyone have any insights?

Thanks

Maria n John

By the way, Tim, thanks for the advice earlier. It helped immensely.
