June and July filers - NVC to Interview

It just annoyed me that he was making more excuses for paying back *my* money that he has owed me since November!! Ok in the grand scheme of things it isn't that much but I have a lot of things going out of my account at the moment so every little helps!! I'm scared to check my bank balance because there is so much I have paid for recently!!

Have also added URL for this thread in the July thread for tomorrow night - w00t! I'm really looking forward to it!!

Haha - well if I get P3 I am leaving it until I get back from the US to do *anything* with it - all I can think about at the moment is the wedding so I am not even looking at what I have to fill in or anything!! Saying that, CSC is so s - l - o - w that it prolly won't get to me until I get back anyway

And yeah - I'm thinking about 6-7pm GMT so for Tucson that will be about 7-8 and for EST it will be 1-2pm

Of course - the boss might notice if you crack open a bottle of red during your lunch hour...

my financial documents (and virtually everything else short of his birth and police certificates) are currently in transit on their way to adriano in albania...the international express mail should take about 6 days, which means they *should* arrive on monday...hopefully, at that time, he can just walk over to the embassy and hand deliver (rather than mailing) it to speed things up a bit

eek, I still have to gather some of my financial documents... but we don't need them till the interview, which is still months away, and since I'm self employed I'm hoping to get 2007's taxes into them. So I guess I shouldn't freak too much about that yet. (Actually working on taxes now... OCD)

6 days IS a longggg time for express mail...thats what my fiance gets for living in albania...oyy...yea the embassy in tirana is weird, because you have to mail in EVERYTHING...it sucks, because then it will almost always take longer to schedule an interview that way...the good thing is that everything is done now...all we have to do interview day is show up and hope for the best!

Ugh... hate to be the bearer of bad news, but they are not fast at all. Montreal is currently taking 4-6 months to hand out an interview date. And unlike some other embassies, they don't tell you 4-6 months in advance. They tell you approximately one month in advance, I believe, but I read a thread where the couple found out just 2 days before their interview. Montreal is messed up. Also, they don't put you in line for an interview until your Packet 3 has been sent in and received by them. So, technically speaking, I am not even in line for an interview yet. I hope to be in the next day or couple of days, as my SO was supposed to send out P3 today.

Gosh, I feel bad for you... you filed before us and you'll still have to wait all the extra time b/c of Montreal.

The instruction said, I have to send DS230 as soon as possible "with a copy of my passport".

But right now, I am renewing my passport since it is expired. It will take about 2 weeks to get it.

Do you think it is okay to send DS230 without a copy of my passport? Or should I wait till get my passport and send DS230 with a copy???

I dont know if it is okay to send DS230 2 weeks later or so...?!

today adriano received the packet 3 documents that i sent him!!!

the express mail was much faster than i had expected it to be...they told me 6 days (i guess to cover their own asses), and it only took 4!!! how exciting!!! now he can bring the packet to the embassy next week!! yayyyyyy

haha, yea i was getting very annoyed with adriano because he tends to have the same procrastinating ways...i needed him to physically write me the name of his high school (for the form ds230 because i dont speak albanian)...all he had to do was write a text message with the information...it took him WEEKS to accomplish this task...this is the reason why it took me so long to mail him the damn packet!!!! lol im like 'sweety, ive been waiting a MONTH for you to write me one word!!!!'

ohmygosh, I sooo hear you. It's little things like that that are easy and fast to fix or do, but for some reason, they can't get on it. I get an email from our lawyer and the FIRST thing I want to do is take care of it! Especially if I have the info or answer or whatever. It's so frustrating to me.
