Definitely - I'm glad we knew each other a fair while first but I still felt embarrassed explaining things to my family - especially after we tried to make a go of it six years ago and it was... interesting to put it mildly!! Now the family are fine but it is still awkward explaining to people how we met!!

I know exactly what you mean. Mind you most people tend to respond by saying something like "wow that's so exciting" I usually reply with "exciting? you obviously have never dealt with US immigration!"

My finace's interview was today. I'm happy to say he was approved! Unfortunately, Haiti has changed the process so that you no longer get the visa the same day. So he won't actually get the visa in hand until January 5. But the most important thing is MY BABY'S FINALLY COMING HOME!!!!!!!

Just hang in there guys!! This long journey will be over soon! Just keep the faith!

Fast forward to this morning. Griff is at work, the phone rings. Its the Embassy calling. They asked him since he's coming to London on Jan. 7th for the medical at 2:30, would he mind popping into the embassy at 07:30 for his interview that same day? OMG!!!! YES!!!! I can't believe it!!!! We are both so excited since this means we can get married on Feb. 16th as planned!!!

Gratzies here too Soooo happy for you!! You'll be together when I am in the US and you will be getting married on my 26th birthday!! I would say think of me but you'll prolly be busy

Oh no! What happened to your pretty pic and whats up with that depressing countdown now? Did you move your wedding date or something? I just popping in quickly so dont know if i manage to catch up on all the posts and then I´m disconnecting the internet soon so I guess I will get updated in 2 weeks after I move. Did you have awesome time with Jeremy?

Oh I'm offloading my dress on my mum then pre-June I am going to box things up that I will have shipped later and just cram into cases anything I can't bear to be apart from for any period of time!! Or essentials!! I still can't quite believe I am doing this - does anyone else still have that kinda crazy thought - the feeling that they are having some kind of out of body experience!? Or is it just non-USCs? Or is it just me?!?!

I definately have out of body experience lol ...I cant even describe. I think it will be more wise if I talk about it after this crazy moving period is over cuz right now I wouldnt sound very clear

it's the flying bit that gets me the most....I'm terrified of flying, I get physically sick for 2-3 days before it and on the day I fill myself with rescue remedy plus it takes around 2 days to recover! I still the bravest thing I have done.....................taking the plunge and just going "#######" and going alone to another country to meet someone I met online only 5 months earlier. Kinda sounds like a really stupid thing to do when you put it so basically doesn't it!?!?!?!

Haha!! It's not depressing!! It's when we might be getting legally married I changed it all to match the new ticker following a conversation with julez and Mags about cats Of course then I had to change my siggie font colour... then it didn't match my avatar... so yeah - bit of a spruce-up!!

Hope the moving is all going well!! Can't believe it has come around so quickly!! I bet it is crazy!! I can't believe we are doing this guys!!!
