has anybody heard of the embassy sending out packet 3 before they recieve the hard copy of the petition? like, is it possible for them to send out packet 3 only possessing the electronic copy?

has anybody heard of the embassy sending out packet 3 before they recieve the hard copy of the petition? like, is it possible for them to send out packet 3 only possessing the electronic copy?

i've heard anything about electronic copies at all. Is it just certain embassys? maybe someone with experience can shed some light on situation.

01/11/2008 - medical (allergic to tetanus shot, requirement waived)

02/05/2008 - interview @ 10am - APPROVED!!!!!!

03/12/2008 - Flying Glasgow - Dublin - Chicago - Omaha

08/02/2008 - Delivered

well, the NVC sends the embassy an electronic copy of the petition and then they mail out the hardcopy

my question is whether or not the embassy will mail out packet 3 before they have received the hardcopy in the mail

Gratzies!!!! I'm feeling a lot better about interview (Ha! Still waiting on NOA2 :( ) since my wedding planner said they would write a letter to say they would postpone the wedding - we will have to postpone the legal wedding but we are still going to have our non-legal ceremony :) I feel so much better knowing I will have some evidence to say we aren't getting "married" in Feb :D

It took 36 days from NOA2 to have our case forwarded to the NVC. It was finally received at the NVC yesterday, 6 days later. We are very thankful that it is finally there, and at the same time, we have been so delayed that it will be a miracle if my fiance can be here by the time he needs to begin studying at the university in January. Congratulations to all of you who have already had your interviews scheduled or completed.

There is a time for everything....all in God's time.

4-4-07: Engaged:)

5-31-07: K-1 package mailed

6-5-07: Signature of receipt at TSC

6-12-07: NOA1 notice mailed from CSC

6-15-07: Check clears bank

6-16-07: Bank shows that check has been cashed.

6-18-07: Obtained receipt number off the back of the check and registered on the USCIS site

HEY GUYS! IT'S SO GOOD TO BE IN THIS PART OF THE PROCESS..... OUR CASE WAS SENT DOWN TO BRAZIL ON NOV 26TH AND NOTHING YET.

I'VE GOT A QUESTION: ABOUT THE PACKET 3 AND 4 IS THERE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE LETTER I'LL GET FROM THE EMBASSY WITH SOME INSTRUCTIONS ? I'VE BEEN READING IT HERE BUT I DID NOT GET THE REAL MEANING AND IN THE INSTRUCTIONS FROM THE EMBASSY WEBSITE THEY DON'T MENTION THIS TERM.

I'M SO ANXIOUS, SPECIALLY NOW READING SOME POSTS THAT HAVE GOT THE MEDICAL AND THE INTERVIEW ALREADY AND FAST.

Interview was very easy, full of humor and jokes. appointment was at 9:30, by 11AM he was already done (including waiting time)

Can't even believe that that stressful time is almost over! (will be fully over when he gets here :dance: )

The Very Secret Diary of Legolas Son of Weenus - by Cassandra Claire

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.
