Congrats to everyone and I am happy to say that I just got approved no too long ago 12/07....so I'm trying to fiure out what I have to do next. I found a forum about the procedures for the NVC after the NOA-2, but I noticed that it was for another type of visa (the CR type). I filed the K-1 and I know that I have to fill out the I-134. But what else do I need to do? do I need to send any other documents? will I be recieving anything? how will I know when my cas is at the embassy? also when do you guys recommend I call NVC to find out the status of our case? so many questions and so little time! LoL but thanks a lot for your input! we're almost there!!! XmasN0101.gif

AOS:

August 8, 2008: We're married!! (both the ceremony and legal wedding)

September 11, 2008: Got the marriage certificate in the mail!! 

September 20, 2008: Sent AOS packet (I-485, EAD, AP)

September 22, 2008: USPS confirmed delivery at LockBox

September 26, 2008: Check Cashed!! :)

September 25, 2008: Recv'd date on all NOA's 

September 30, 2008: Received all 3 NOA's: I-485, EAD, AP

Ocotber 10, 2008: RFE for I-485 (needed proof of citizenship for sponsor) :S

October 21, 2008: Biometrics @12 pm in Ft. Lauderdale~over and done with in 5min!!~

October 22, 2008: documents for RFE sent via Priority Mail

October 24, 2008: documents received at MO

November 6, 2008: Case transferred to CSC :D

December 10, 2008: EAD approved!! Card production ordered!

Dec. 15, 2008: Rec'd EAD and AP via mail.

March 2, 2009: AOS Approved

March 9, 2009: Green Card Received!!!

March 24, 2020: N400 submitted (online)

January 2021: notice stating no new Biometrics needed

April 15, 2022: Notice to Appear for interview and exam

June 4, 2022: Interview/Exam Day! 🥳

Marta I am worried. I am fighting with work to give me the time off. :( And had a dream last night I was with my fiancé in the waiting room and they never called our name so I'm right there with ya.

Thank you Tim. There may be an interview date for us after all, unless my fiancee is pulling my leg. She said the Embassy called and told her the date will be on Jan 09. She said she'll call me when she gets home from school. She likes to joke a lot so I'm thinking this is one of those times. lol I'll update the status.

09/28/2007 : NOA2 (144 days from filing date)

11/02/2007 : NVC Received Case (35 days from NOA2)

11/06/2007 : NVC Sent Case to HCM Consulate

January 15, 2008 -married

Submitted docs for AOS ...but ,very unfortunately, my husband had to return back to Ukraine due to emergency without travel document (AP)

Congrats! I got mine too.. It seems all MNL2007818XXX to MNL2007833XXX got interview dates since of yesterday. I didnt bother checking my case online since I didnt want to disappoint myself but its already scheduled!
