Hey All

Let me start off by saying Happy Easter to each and every one of you guys. Just think Next Easter we will be with our "Snuggle Bunnies".

I went online today and noticed that our I-129F was "Updtaed" today. I know that the federal government does not work on the week let alone a holiday weekend so can anyone please explain to me what is usually the process being conducted when you see that your case was "Updated"

I bet most of this updating is done as an automated process that does not require grubby fingers of the uscis

How are you able to see if your I-130 has been updated again when I click on the link I get some kind of servlet error

Because I have no life and I spend way too much time on this computer and I am obsessive and compulsive and I just kept trying. :D I was able to get in a couple of times this afternoon and when I did I had been touched on the I-130. Nothing has changed on the I-129. Now I just get the error message again.

My I129F was updated on the 16th as well and it was rcvd on the 06th of April......... Hopefully it's a good sign!!!

Mine was rec'd on the 31st of March. See signature below for "touchy" info. :)

Yes... I also hope it's a good sign - for all of us!

2005-08-10: Met Natalia and fell in love. Too bad she didn't.

2006-01-13: Married. Biggest mistake of my life.

2006-03-07: Began the I-130/I-129F process.

2006-11-01: POE - JFK / Home in Austin!

2006-11-15: She hits me and continues pattern of abuse.

2006-11-16: I filed for divorce.

2006-11-17: Wife is served divorce papers; she and daughter return to Russia.

2007-12-08: She returns to Russia "for the holidays" (lied to lawyers and court).

[many more ups and downs during this time period - mostly downs]

2008-03-26: File for bankruptcy.

2008-07-30: Bankruptcy finalized.

2008-08-27: Divorce final. Started piecing my life back together.

(See my timeline for details.)

Disclaimer: I'm just a guy who married for love, but she didn't! All she wants is money and a green card.
