Charlie looks likes like trouble. Keep your eye on him.

Awww. He's my little 4-legged son. Someone abandoned him at the restaurant where I worked about 8 years ago. I couldnt bear to see the poor thing eating out of the dumpster and drinking from a parking lot puddle so I scooped him up and took him home. He's a little cranky in his old age, but still a sweet dog. He is best friends with the guinea pig and has a plethora of pet cats. He also snores like a mofo.

Trouble is the middle name of the black dog, Zinc. Dad tells me they had the neighbors over for dinner one night and the wife looked at her husband and pointed to the dog, "Oh look honey, its Go Home!". Dad tells the dog to sit down and the dog jumps in his lap as if he were telling Santa his Christmas wishes.

:P I'm sure he is...that look on his face though....he's got trouble storming in those eyes. Snores like a mofo....LOL

Our little baby Daisy. She's a shih tzu. Daisy is almost 3.

I have a shih tzu named Daisy too! She is 5, but I don't have a pic of her here at work. She has a crooked face, its so funny - we love her all the more because of it!

Awwww! I'd like to see your Daisy sometime. We just got back from vacation and I thought Daisy was going to die from excitement last night when we got home. It was the cutest thing. She was snorting and everything from being so excited. I just love her.

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!

Too bad they are both girls. We could have bred them and had bullshits.

LOL. I love the new mixed breeds. Cockapoodles, peekapoos, etc. Dad calls my dog Charlie chihuahua hyphenated beagle.

He does! He sounds like a damn pig sometimes! He likes to bury himself in piles of clothes or bedding when he sleeps. You'll see the pile rise and fall with each snorting intake of breath. Scared the ####### outta my husband when he first met the dog

He's got attitude to boot. If the guinea pig gets something, he must have one too. As a result, the dog looooooves lettuce and carrots. He even knows carrot in French. He wont eat green beans though. We gave the pig one, Charlie insisted on getting one too, despite my best efforts to inform him this is not 'dog food'. He took it and ate it but the look on his face was like "You liar. You gave the pig real food and gave me this friggin wax crayon to eat. This is not food. "

Everyone has such cute dogs!

I asked hubby yesterday why he won't let me get one when eh knows how badly I want one. He says once we have a yard, you can get one. :(

Ooooh... I'm sorry he doesn't let you have one... it's true that a pet demands attention at a lot of care... Gosh, but they're such a sweet, unconditional company!! Frida was my therapy while Josh and I were away from each other. I got her when she wasn't a month old... at my parents' place... without a yard... There are ways around that issue; hubby just needs a little patience :luv:

We grew up with dogs & he didn't...and you KNOW how non-dog people are....sheesh. ;)

LMFAO! Non-dog people. You make it sound like there's a whole 'nother race of beings on this planet who are anti-dog.

My mom was a NON dog person until we had a little shihtzu/maltese named Lulú. She was so adorable!! I guess that "cured" my mom... I think it was more ignorance than not liking dogs, because she had never had one.

When I told Josh that I had a puppy and that I was determined to keep her and to bring her with me to the US, he was so MEAN with me... Because he's only had cats (being allergic and asthmatic), he was pretty closed regarding my little loquita... I remember I got so mad at him that he told me "I can't believe you're putting a dog before me!". Anyway... I just shut up (like Chavez should have done when the king snapped at him btw) and waited for his next visit. He "melted" when he saw her... who wouldn't??????? Her breed is great for allergic people, because she doesn't shed at all.

My Fritz was my best friend growing up. He lived to about 16 I think. Schnauzers are very sweet, calm dogs. Our vet had 2 giants & I remember how big they were compared to our mini!

I looked for months to find a apt that takes dogs too.
