Not to fan the fire but Aimee has a right to be here...yes it is sad that Heather passed...none of us were there...everyone has their own version of the facts. And it is sad that in order to be with the man she loves Aimee has to involve Heather....cannot be at all comfortable for Aimee...what is the appropriate time frame to mourn?? My ex husbands has been dating a girl for 5 months...yesterday was the 1 yr anniversary of her husbands death...sad for those that knew her husband assuredly...and sad for her but she has moved on with her life...one way to honor the dead is to live the life you have...Im sure if Heather loved him she would want him happy...is that always comfortable for the friends and family of the deceased left behind? No but life moves on with or without us. And Aimee wouldnt have to bring it up if she could post without being attacked imo. No one has to respond to posts they dont want to. This supposed to be a support board.

Anyone has the right to be here - I believe the issue is how appropriate is it to delve into personal and private matters of a person that has passed? Let's show some respect to this woman who cannot speak for herself, there is no reason to discuss her personal details or make any assumptions of her love for Badr....I did not know Heather nor this situation...but reading this thread has gotten me totally wigged out and thumbing through my DSM-IV(TR)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:blink::blink::blink:

I believe the question was.....Is this all worth it?

Now, my last post was totally negative, and I am not a person to be negative. But dear, if you have to ask this question, then you are not ready for this process.

However, in a form of support, I think the web address you need is www.eharmoney.com You can find someone local you can chat with, have dinner with, go places with, and be everything you need. There are no visa's involved, and the cost of the membership is far less than the cost of filing papers for a visa.

I really wish you well. It sounds like you are extremely lonely. When I first started this process I talked with people who have been through it, and I talked to my pastor to see what I should expect. One friend took over 2 years to get here. The other took over 5 years to finally get his wife here. The third man just got his wife here after 19 months waiting and having to refile and resubmit things. My pastor, who has helped people file and obtain their visa's, told me if I think the visa process is rough, be ready to strap on my seat belt and take a roller coaster ride, cause once he gets here, the fun just begins. Ahmed and I filed June 3rd, 2006. We are still in administrative processing. This process is grueling. It wears you down.

Best of luck.

Sue
