 Congrats on the interview!

Don't worry, not all the interviews are a bad experience.

My fiance just had his interview last monday and he said it was no problem and the lady was nice. Just be prepared for a really long wait, and I think somewhere in the interview tips it says to eat well before going. He got there 1 hr early and was in the embassy for 5 hrs (for a total of 6hrs).

Just be organized and relax! You will be fine

(p.s. - no slumber party?)

This is a very important tip that I have not seen mentioned before. At some of the busier consulates, people have to line up hours before the consulate even opens, and then many have to wait all day before being called up to the window. Good idea to have a bite to eat before you go... and maybe bring a book to read....

Grill your SO at length, and leave no parts untouched. Have your SO hold all of the evidence he brings in his lap or someplace where the CO can see it. Do not have him place it on the floor. Make direct eye contact with the CO, do not look to the right, left, up or down. His answers to the questions should be short and to the point, and if at anytime he does not understand what is being asked, he should ask the CO to please repeat it. He should avoid answering with, " Well...ummmm..." or hesitating . Have him dress casual and nice.

Best Wishes!

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

I think with the mountain of evidence you should be fine. One of the most important things for "proof of relationship" is the daily contact you kept.

My husband does not have a lot of telephone bills because he uses calling cards to call me. But in our earlier emails he often says "I will be using calling cards to call you because it is so expensive" Additionally, a lot of our emails say, "It was so wonderful to talk to you. etc, etc."

So don't fret, if there are references to ongoing conversations and all the other stuff you have, you'll be fine.
