That is very unfortunate. One of the IOs must have mistaken the open 4 for a 9 as it may have been too closed. I am not familiar with the procedure involved in clearing this up.. so I can't be of any help. Just want to say everything happens for a reason so don't fret, good things will come of it.

Current Status
July, 2011 - US Citizen

The USCIS person you spoke with is correct. Resubmit the I 765 form with a cover letter stating that you are resubmitting due to THEIR error on your date of birth -- and as it was their error, that you are NOT submitting the fee along with this new application. Give them the case number for your first application as well so that they can cross reference.

I believe you'll have to send them the card as well.

but there is something really strange

i had the same update 2 times , card ordered for production .

1st time was on nov 1 , and the same update on Nov 6

now .. the card that i have with the date of nov 1

my Case status , still say card orderd for production with the date of the 6th
