My SO gave me a bank statement with his name and address in both arabic and english. I just put the application over this and traced.

Or you could get someone who knows how to write Arabic, or could get it written for you.

( raises hand. Even though I write, my spelling's atrocious. I mean, I can't even spell my own name right XD )

It's the long vowels that kill me (most of the time.)

The moral of my story: Stick with someone who matches your own culture.

( This coming from an Arab who married an Arab from overseas... go figure. )

I emailed mine to my husband and then he emailed me them back after he signed them. I printed them and sent them off. (i think)

He scanned and emailed it too me. On that line I stated "see attachment". That really is a stupid question isn't it!

No one said anything rude to you. Everyone has answered your question to the best of their ability according to the information you submitted in your original post.

On ours I sent the form to him, had him write his name in Arabic and send it back to me.

OMG, that is funny! Its easy to see that you mistook my comment though. Sometimes reading responses doesn't give you a full meaning of what the poster is saying. No worries mate!

Its often hard to figure out what someone said vs. what was meant in a text only environment. Especially when you're stressed about paperwork details. Thank goodness for smileys or we'd all be slinging mud in every thread ;)
