Questions about DS-230

Sorry if this has been posted before, or if these are stupid questions, but here goes:

I'm looking at the DS-230 example form and in question 23, it asks us to "list below all education institutions attended". Does this include ALL schools attended ever since you're born?! Or can we start listing from high school onwards? I'd have a long, long list otherwise...

Also, in question 25, it asks us to "list dates of all previous visits to or residence in the United States". I live in Canada so I visit the U.S. a lot! Maybe not as often as some fellow Canadians, but still... Would I include only significant U.S. visits (those pertaining to my K1 and my fiancé), or would I also include the myriad family trips down to the States as well? Do they really care if I visited the U.S. for a day when I was eight years old?

Finally... there's a couple of places where it asks for my name in my native alphabet if it's not in Roman letters. I do have a Chinese name, written in Chinese characters. It's not on my Canadian passport or any official documents save for my birth certificate. Would I include my Chinese name (in Chinese characters) on the DS-230, or it really doesn't matter too much since I don't even use it on official documents?

Thanks for any light shed on this!

I am not sure about all your questions but the 2nd on for list how many times you have been it the US...My fiance works on a cruise ship and is in and out of the US constantly so on all the paperwork that asked to list times you have been in the US, I just put "Multiple times 2003-2006 while working on a cruise ship"...I was not going to even try to figure out everytime he was in the US..our petition was approved with no problems.

Thanks! I'll probably have to write something similar on mine.

Won't you need to show a copy of your birth certificate during your interview? I suggest you call NVC and ask someone if you need to write your Chinese name in Chinese characters. I have a name issue as well (more complicated question than yours) and I got some answers from NVC on how to deal with it.

Good luck!

Yeah, the only document that has my Chinese name (in Chinese characters) on it is my birth certificate. I guess it won't hurt to write that on my DS-230, but I'll call the NVC just in case. Thanks! :)
