good evening to all,

my husband has his appointment in a little bit less than a month, and i am SUPER nervous. we have everything ready (i think) but can you look over my list again and make sure i'm not forgetting something important?

immigration papers

bills

cards

lots of pictures

taxes (previous years)

proof of employment here (i have been living in mexico for the last 2 years)

job offer for me (us citizen) in the states for january

...

our visa was denied 3 years ago (see my previous posts) due to previous drug use, and my husband has been going to counseling, so he has a letter from his psychologist. i guess that is the part that makes me the most nervous. any experience with this?

thanks, and im sorry this is kind of vague. i feel really stressed right now, and i remember how stressful it was last time. if the papers are denied again, i dont know what we are going to do. sometimes i cant sleep at night because i am so stressed about this whole process.

any help or ideas would be great.

It is my understanding that if illegal drugs are detected or admitted to, there is a life time ban on immitration to the US.

nope, it is a 3-year ban, but thanks for answering anyways. could be it is a life ban for selling drugs or something, but not for my husband's situation.
