Ok, I didn't feel right attacking the fine Calgary folks right off the bat, so I actually posted a legitimate issue I have that involves Calgary. Perhaps I can segway into a drama from there... (sorry, I am feeling a bit too cheerful to come out swinging right away and yes, I suck.)

10/01/2005: Married in Toronto

02/15/2006: Began Canadian Immigration

09/19/2007: Withdrew CIC application (they still hadn't processed anything)

10/01/2007: Moved back to U.S.

10/29/2007: USPS confirmation of receipt of I-130

02/13/2008: NOA-1 received (107 days)

07/02/2008: I-130 approved

07/22/2008: AOS filed including EAD and AP

07/25/2008: NOA-1s for all 3 received

08/20/2008: Biometrics appointment

08/22/2008: Received RFE for Affadivit of Support and Medical

10/21/2008: Submitted I-865W in lieu of co-sponsor and medical info to NSC

11/14/2008: online case status not updated since filing of AOS in July 2008

01/20/2009: Received another RFE for Affadavit of Support Info

02/02/2009: Responded to RFE with brand new AOS based on 2008 tax return (if that doesn't shut them up, dunno what will)

02/19/2009: EAD card received in mail (no updates on Online Case Status ever made)

02/23/2009: AP received (again, no online updates)

02/26/2009: Received interview appointment letter for 4/6/09

04/06/2009: AOS approved for unconditional GC

04/21/2009: GC received

Actually, it is the truth. Not that I am really trying to find this guy, but I might be able to swing the post into a debate of illegal immigration, or something a bit more 'hot.'

Ok alcohol and drama - I think these are solid suggestions - yours too krikit, I think you should have a drink and meander over and post something.

You know I think a lot of people look at the board, maybe Calgarians are shy (haha).

We did have 1 American post 'we can't be the police for the world' and that was probably the most hotly debated, longest running thread.

Green card/residency card: email notice of approval – August 28th, 2008 yippeeeee!!!

Funny-looking card arrives – September 6th, 2008 :)

Mailed request to remove conditions – July 7, 2010

Landed permanent resident approved – August 23rd, 2010

Second funny looking card arrives – August 31st, 2010

21 Dec 09 biometric

On March 9, 2010, we ordered production of your new card.

12 March 2010 received approval letter in mail

16 March 2010 10 year Green Card received in mail exp date March 09 / 2020

April 14/2017 send N400 

04/25/17 credit card charged 

04/25/17 e mail NOA send 

05/01/17 hard copy of NOA dated 04/25 received in mail

Guess you missed George's other tidbit - I don't think he likes Americans much:

"I dunno i find American Entertainment besides movies rather boring its something i could care less if i see again I dunno i dont believe in there whole metro sexual society, seems they have no life so they gotta prye or watch others. Booringggg...yawn. exception to CSI i rather enjoy it. personally i hope this strike lasts forever i would hate for there ####### to infect our young generation of canadians".

Yes, prior to this week I wasn't really familiar with George's work - he wasn't a regular poster. He thinks I am a truck driver :blink:

Create drama. That always brings 'em in.

That's what I was going to say.

When there was drama on my board, my hits quadrupled for the month.

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.
