I love these short weeks

Next week is going to be great! Plus my crazy family has a 3 day golf tournament (me and my dad against my mom and brother) so there will be lots of golf and turkey sandwiches.

And just what kind bread do you serve a golf and tukey sandwich on? Is this one of those high-class sandwiches that you have to use brown mustard on instead of yellow?

Share my funny moment today -- mi amor called me around my lunch time today and we talked for a bit. I told him I thought he might have called with good news. (I expect to know from the DOS about his name clearance before he receives something from the consulate - but I can hope)

He says I should forgot about his trip to the US. We speak Spanish primarily, so I thought about the words a few times and said, WHAT? The words sounded like a break up, but his tone didn't.

He doesn't want to break up. He was encouraging me to not focus on his getting here and our future so much, because is makes it harder to wait. It is sweet advice and much better than a break up!!!

(my congress person immigration liason wrote me last Thurs asking me for an update. I wrote about the same old story from the DOS and asked for her help..... knowing she cannot do much on awaiting name clearance)

Counting my blessings.....
