NVC phone number busy signal

Hi Everyone,

Has anyone every received a busy signal when calling the NVC number? I called it the other night and once the other day and got through to the automated voice system and now when I call it gives me a busy signal. Not sure how this can be when it is an automated system.

I always called them late at night, 8PM or so. Wait for an operator and he or she will be able to give you info on your K1.

Good advice, but that will be if I can actually get thru:) I am surprised there is a busy signal for an automated number:).

It is automated, but only to a point! You need to speak to a human to get info on a K-1 Visa case. Be patient, you'll get through. In fact, you can email them too. They normally respond in a couple days.

I finally got through. I tell you persistence is key. My case is not there yet, but I am at CSC not like those lucky ducks from Vermont whose are getting there really fast:)

I understand i called yesterday and the line was busy everytime I called and I'm calling from Texas, I tried several times if it wasn't busy I was directed to the automated message so i couldn't reach a live operator..... I will try tonight this morning I received the same thing....

best time to call 8:30 - 10:30 AM and 10-12 midnight EST

Dont call them lucky ducks, they r going through enough pain already
