should I try for business visa to meet in person

My fiancee is in USA,we met online and we want to get married.

We learned that meeting in person is mandatory and its not possible for her to come to India for longer time(max.only for a week) because of job and other occupations.

In this case I think of trying to get business visa...asking a sponsor letter from her claiming that we want to establish business together ( and which is a fact...we also want to do business together)

I want to know if I apply for business visa (I get it or not)...will it effect our I-129F or I-130 petition later?

will they consider it negatively for fiancee visa if I try for business visa now (before filing k1 or I-130 visa petition?)

02/15/2006: Began Canadian Immigration

09/19/2007: Withdrew CIC application (they still hadn't processed anything)

10/01/2007: Moved back to U.S.

10/26/2007: I-130 mailed to CA Service Center

10/29/2007: USPS confirmation of receipt of I-130

02/13/2008: NOA-1 received (107 days)

07/02/2008: I-130 approved

07/22/2008: AOS filed including EAD and AP

07/25/2008: NOA-1s for all 3 received

08/20/2008: Biometrics appointment

08/22/2008: Received RFE for Affadivit of Support and Medical

10/21/2008: Submitted I-865W in lieu of co-sponsor and medical info to NSC

11/14/2008: online case status not updated since filing of AOS in July 2008

01/20/2009: Received another RFE for Affadavit of Support Info

02/02/2009: Responded to RFE with brand new AOS based on 2008 tax return (if that doesn't shut them up, dunno what will)

02/19/2009: EAD card received in mail (no updates on Online Case Status ever made)

02/23/2009: AP received (again, no online updates)

02/26/2009: Received interview appointment letter for 4/6/09

04/06/2009: AOS approved for unconditional GC

04/21/2009: GC received

Ah, I see. You meant a B1 visa in your other post. You won't get a B1 visa by saying you want to set up a business with your fiancee. You should go for the visitor visa instead even though that's a longshot - it would be a better bet than the B1 for you.

US Immigration Timeline

24 Feb 2007 - Sent I-130 to London USCIS office (I'm the petitioner)

25 May 2007 - NOA2

2 June 2007 - Received Packet 3

12 Oct 2007 - Sent Packet 3 back by special delivery

5 Nov 2007 - Interview in London - Approved without any hitches!

7 Nov 2007 - Visa and MBE arrived by SMS! :)

30 Jan 2008 - Fly to Michigan!! :)

*Note: Any delays in our case are only due to us taking things slowly

You have asked same question in yahoo immigration info group. I am sure, you are given good answers. You should meet in person and apply for K-1 or get married and pursue CR-1/K-3 routes. There is no guarantee that you will be issued a visitor's visa.

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview
