Absolutely second what many have said here. Avoid a heavy lunch and steer well clear of bread, potatoes and pasta at lunchtime. Any starchy carbs like that will automatically zonk you right out around an hour after eating them. Have a light salad or something similar.

Get more sleep at night.

I did, I got 8 hours of sleep and I'm zonked right now!

Apples, peanut butter, or granola are good pick me ups. They are healthier than coffee, soda, or choccies for energy and last longer.

Cocaine.

Personally, I just take a two hour nap. Works well for me.

When, where, and how? I'm at work!

Same thing with me. I am thinking it is just old age :P at least for me. Do you eat a lot of sugar?

Not really. I'm all talk but no donuts for a very long time!

what are you eating for lunch and breakfast?

Diet can also play a role in this.

Try changing your office around every month as well, keeping things fresh and new will also keep you awake.

LOL, you mean I should hide my stapler? :lol:j/k I'm sure my diet plays a role in this especially since it happens between 2-4 pm.

Pregnancy does that to people :P jk

Maybe a change in your diet. I don't know if you have lunch and what you eat, but for me at least if I have an actual lunch while at work, like real food, pasta, steak or something I get sleepy. If I only eat fruits, yogurt and all that light stuff I feel more energetic. Might sound crazy, but hey, it works for me.

I may just try that.

VJ Hours - I am available M-F from 10am - 5pm PST. I will occasionaly put in some OT for a fairly good poo slinging thread or a donut.
