I get so tired between 2-4pm to the point where I want to sleep on my keyboard. Anyone else have this problem? What can I do to avoid this afternoon crash? :help:

VJ Hours - I am available M-F from 10am - 5pm PST. I will occasionaly put in some OT for a fairly good poo slinging thread or a donut.

A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.

Apples, peanut butter, or granola are good pick me ups. They are healthier than coffee, soda, or choccies for energy and last longer. I usually have to take at least one 15-minute snooze at my desk during the day and that usually holds me until its time to go home.

Cocaine.

Personally, I just take a two hour nap. Works well for me.

Try adding an hour or two - according to everything I've read on sleep, most adults need at least 10 hours.

Left to my own devices, that's how long I'll sleep.... but I average 6 hrs/night in a good week.

another suggestion: Stop thinking about naps. Post more on VJ. That'll keep you awake.

Shut the office door.

If you can't do that, go out for lunch, and then sleep in the car.

I need a lot of sleep, but I also have difficulty with getting restful sleep. If I don't get enough, I get easily agitated and distracted.
