See if you can get him to volunteer one night at the local soup kitchen, washing dishes. That might fix his one-at-a-time method. :P

Very clever idea!!!

A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.

When I stick my cold hands on his stomach. He calls it "spousal terrorism".

Seriously? I hate ketchup, and he loves it. I make him brush his teeth afterwards. He gets grumpy, but for the most part he's a good sport about it.

We've had a couple of small arguments whic became enormous because of the time difference and distance until we were able to talk again. Mostly our arguments arise from the fact that we have a 9 hour time difference so I'm asleep when he's awake and I'm at work when he is free. We have some overlapping, but not much. So we really have a very small window of time to talk. Usually those arguments come about b/c I just can't take it and need to hear his voice :-) I take full responsibility.

As for the really dumb dumb ones. The Great Shampoo Fiasco of 2006 comes to mind:

It was our first time shopping together and we needed shampoo. I have specific brands that I will NOT buy because of either animal testing or child labor (yes, I hug trees). He was getting very frustrated because I wouldn't just grab a bottle and buy it. But you know, I have certain principles and I will not give in, even for the hot German guy. :)

He uses my towel and I don't like him to use my towel. We argue about that cause he thinks it's not important and I think if it's not important then STOP USING MY TOWEL!! Then he laughs and says I'm a bully and we do it again next time. [sigh] I miss my Bassi!

Speaking of towels...

He'll step out of the shower and drip all over the rug.... can you NOT dry of first, before stepping out and making a mess?

Nope... then the rug doesn't dry out and gets all moldy. It's a rubber-backed one... plus, I HATE stepping out of the shower on a cold wet rug.

We had a fight about tamales. He spent money we didn't have on tamales only HE would eat, because I don't like them. It was a huge fight about how he can't spend $ on anything and how he feels he has nothing of his own here.

Ridiculous. He can spend $ on me anyday ;)

For those couples here that each have their own ID on VJ, have you ever gotten into a spat over something on VJ?

let's not limit it to those with separate ids....
