Haha. He has tried to teach me once or twice and I didn't really pay attention- and yes Martha does know, I saw her do it on her show once. :)

Found it!!! How to Fold a Fitted Sheet. I'm gonna try that today! (Yeah. It's the little things. )

my mom showed it to me when I was a kid :luv: and hubby knows how too :D

We usually have stupid fights because he wants to bring all the grocery upstairs in one load, like grab 4 gallons of milk in one hand and 10 bags with the other, but that usually leaves me with the bread and other light stuff and I hate that he doesnt let me help him...I don't care if he's macho about it, he's the one with back ache and I want to help

A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.

Once I made a bowl of mashed potatoes for myself (I'm irish!)

All buttery and peppery and a bit of cheese mmm

I asked before I boiled the potatoes

"do you want any"

"no"

I still put an extra potato in, cos I know him!

Was watching a movie, all dark and cuddley, eating me mashed potatoes

He asked to try them

I got into the movie.

Three minutes later I got back an empty bowl

It finished with me storming out of the house in the rain and not talking for a good day and a half

What can I say - I like me some potatoes

David does this with coffee. He is usually up first on the weekend and it doesn't take him long to finish a pot of coffee. I can't drink coffee first thing but I do enjoy a cup or two as the day starts. So, I'll make a pot, take a cup, and by the time I'm ready for my second cup, the pot is empty. No sense making another pot just for one more cup.... sigh.

you should get one of those coffee makers that makes one cup at a time....

now that I think about it that might be a good Christmas present for hubby... we just have a regular coffee maker and I don't drink coffee at all.... he said he wanted one but he also said he wanted a mp3 player... :P

I just found this one at Target and it is only about 17 bucks....

talk to him and ask him to make more and leave it for you. I always wake up before Charles and I make 1 cup at least more than what I know I'll drink and after he's up I offer him, if he doesn't want I ask if I can turn it off and I either drink it or not, one cup is not much of a big deal in waste and I know he doesn't drink more than that, not even 1 cup, he drinks half, also, he never wants to drink coffee later on.

I've tried that. If it's there, he'll drink it. I have to hide the ice cream... it's kinda hard to hide the coffee maker. ^_^

Good idea Marilyn. He didn't like the iron I had, so he bought his own. So now we have his/hers irons. Why not coffee makers? Would be a good conversation starter.... "Why do you have 2 coffee makers in your kitchen?"
