Girl, he broke it the week before and knew that he didn't use enough crazy glue when he put it back together thinking you'd never notice until driving down a rainy highway in the middle of nowhere GA at night! It's always his fault, just get creative about it.....

Actually, that was when I could drink alcohol. I'm on new medication for my migraines and can't drink. I don't really miss it, actually, unless I'm on a business trip.

I do have to hide any chocolate or Starbuck's Java Chip ice cream if I expect to ever have any.....

A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.

My first husband was completely non-confrontational. We never fought once in the 14 years we were married. Seriously. So this bickering thing is all new to me. It's refreshing, actually. And it's good to know that you all bicker over stupid things too... and that it doesn't threaten your marriage. At least, I hope not.

Jen

It's the spice of life...except too much gives me heartburn.

Exactly. We fight over some really dumb stuff, but it passes. I remember watching so many friends and relatives quabble for days over dumb ####### with their spouses and it all just piled up and wound up ending the marriage in most cases. Honestly, some of this ####### is not worth hanging on to. But it does make for good giggles down the line :P

Once I made a bowl of mashed potatoes for myself (I'm irish!)

All buttery and peppery and a bit of cheese mmm

I asked before I boiled the potatoes

"do you want any"

"no"

I still put an extra potato in, cos I know him!

Was watching a movie, all dark and cuddley, eating me mashed potatoes

He asked to try them

I got into the movie.

Three minutes later I got back an empty bowl

It finished with me storming out of the house in the rain and not talking for a good day and a half

What can I say - I like me some potatoes
