We used to own a cat who would come to our school and sit on the window sill of my classroom at the end of the school day - then escort us home. We lived about 3 blocks from the school, but could get there by crossing an open field. What was funny is how he knew where we were and when were ready to leave for the day. He was always there about 10 minutes before the end of the last class.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
