Hi all

Its been a while since i have posted on here. I have been pretty ill. But, we booked a holiday in

PUNTA CANA! I can't wait to go there! It's a long wait as we are going in August but all the same I am really exited!

I just out of interest wondered where other people from USA go on holiday. In UK i KNOW where to go but here.....ummm I am not so sure!

Just another question I have! I am trying to renew my passport my UK one ran out this month. I have the C1 form but I need to know : What do I do after I have filed the form in? Where does it get sent to? Also, do I HAVE to use an expediting service, because thats all I seem to see over here. It is much easier to do in England and MUCH CHEAPER!

So, Please let me know ANYTHING about the passport thing!

Thanks!

Ooh, vacation discussion!

Usually, Europe is my choice for long trips. Shorter trips, Orlando, New York, NC mountains, etc. However, I think my fiance and I are going to go to Turkey for our honeymoon (after he gets his AP)! I am soo excited about that, but it's still a long way away and we're not sure that's where we're going yet. If we need to stay stateside, we'll probably go to Puerto Rico or Miami.

I think the majority of Americans stay in the U.S. when they go on annual vacations. I know a lot of people who don't even have passports. I think VJ'ers travel more on the whole than most Americans.

I've always wanted to go to Brazil. Maybe once he gets his greencard!

Have a blast on your vacation!

My family are taking my grandmother to Calgary/Canmore to spend a week in the Rocky Mountains -- she's always wanted to see them, and she's 80 now, so it's time to do it. :) WE're hoping to fly up and spend a couple days with them all. if that doesn't happen, we'll do our 2 trips home to Canada instead. One of these days, we'll travel overseas -- hopefully to Australia. :)

I'm planning on us going camping in Yosemite, then hopping over the Sierras to Mammoth and go skiing on July 4th. The waterfalls should be spectacular with all the snow they've gotten this year.

In the fall we'll go to Spain, then across to Morocco to visit family.

Javier is from Mexico so we are going back there in December. We spent all our money and time off while he was in Mexico from Aug to Jan. I won't have any time built up until then and we won't have any money saved up until then. We may take a few weekend trips but nothing much. Our big trip is Dec. 15th thru Dec. 27th. It's a nice long vacation. It's his sister's 15th birthday so we should have plenty of good times.

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!
