Our Biometrics appointment is November 15. I'm going to try and go this afternoon after work to avoid having to take a day off. Our center is Van Nuys, California. Do you think we have a chance?

Thanks

When we were at the ASC for our biometrics, someone tried to do it and they got an earful from the office manager about absolutely NOT!! However, after hearing a lecture for about 30 minutes the office manager went back and asked the supervisor... the supervisor said that since they were not busy then they would make an exception... So I guess no harm no apparent fould if you try...

YMMV

Yah, I agree. We heard a few people reprimanded and sent away for trying to do that in St. Louis. The gal there said they could come any time after their appointment on the approved days of the week; but not before.

Go for it, all they can do is tell you no and come back on 15th and they are not that busy that they cannot handle a walk in, it depends on the office manager mood that day so why not try.

If it's not very inconvenient for you and the ASC is close to where you live, you can try to walk-in for Biometrics. Who know's, they are not too busy on that particular day and can accomodate a walk-in. You'll never know until you try, right? If they will say no, then you have no choice but take that day off on the 15th.

Good luck to you!

Well, we tried. We arrived a little before 4 and went upstairs. The door was closed so I went to it and turned the handle and found it locked. A guard then came through the door yelling at me over why I was trying the handle because couldn't I see that the place was closed. His voice was loud and he tried to be intimidating, but I remained calm and left. He was from a private security firm and was out of line. Anyway, he won't see me again. A friend is taking my wife on he appointment date tomorrow. Thanks for the comments all.
