wow I forgot about bobbit. I remember him being on phil donahue talking about his porn film.

That just really grosses me out. I felt bad for him.....and then he went and did that.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Now I'm confused. I thought the trend for buying higher caliber handguns was the force of damage they could do? From what I've read, a 9mm hollow point is almost indistinguishable from 40 SW. Bigger isn't always better, yes?

Hurt? Yes it will hurt. High percentage stopping power? No.

A well placed shot with an Airsoft gun or a BB gun can stop someone. I would rather go with the knockdown or stopping power to a well placed shot. Most people never rise to the occasion when stress is involved , they drop down to their level of training. In the case of getting hit with a .22LR 30 gr bullet vs a 60 gr. I'll pick getting hit with the 30 gr. less energy.

just think basic physics. a 9mm travels at about the same speed as a .40 cal but you're talking about a 115-125 gr bullet as compared to a 180-200 gr bullet.

a .22 long is booking compared to those pistol rounds. and today i found an awesome gun. almaty needs one of them. a .17 cal rifle, muzzle velocity is 4000+ fps!

basically this thing is a 177 caliber pellet gun on steroids :P

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.17_HMR

check out the pic on that page comparing it to a 25-06

the only bullet i can find that is faster is a 220 swift, which goes thru barrels like a hooker thru johns.

here's the rifle

http://www.remington.com/products/firearms...s/model_547.asp

87971 - 17 HMR

and here is the remington ammo

It’s time you warmed up to 4,000 fps velocities, extreme accuracy and less cleaning. The next generation of small-caliber performance is here for 2007. The Remington-exclusive 17 Remington Fireball. It breaks the 4,000 fps barrier with one of the smallest powder charges ever – this means less fouling and more shots between cleanings. It’s a super-efficient case design that, when matched with our 20-grain AccuTip-V, shoots flatter than a 22-250 Remington 55-grain loading. Plus, there’s virtually no recoil or muzzle jump, so you never lose sight of your target. Based on the 17 Mach IV wildcat (a necked-down version of our 221 Remington Fireball) which has been a favorite for several years due to its inherent speed and accuracy, we’re proud to say we’ve made the design a little better, and made it our own. The new 17 Remington Fireball.

enjoy

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.
