This is pretty cool. Maybe it can help a voter determine where a candidate stands on various immigration issues.

The best I could muster was Rudy Giuliani agreeing with me twenty six percent of the time

As I already knew, Thompson 94% and Hunter 100%. No surprise there. The only reason it's not 100% is because of the degree I chose to agree with each issue.

Support citizenship for illegal immigrants?: NO "Amnesty is not an option." (agree)

Support the border fence?: YES Supports building the 700-mile fence by 2010 and extending as necessary. (agree)

Support birthright citizenship?: MAYBE "I think that law was created at another time and place for valid reasons. It probably needs to be revisited." (agree)

Support English as official language?: YES Making English the official language would promote assimilation and legal immigrants' success. (agree)

Support worksite enforcement?: YES Argues illegal immigration would drop with enforcement against employers and illegal workers; and would double the number of agents who handle worksite enforcement investigations. (agree)

Support legal immigration changes?: YES Would end family preferences for parents, adult children and siblings; and would place more emphasis on bringing in immigrants who can be "economic contributors." (agree)

Support the DREAM Act?: NO "Essentially, the DREAM Act puts some illegal aliens in a better position for residency than legal aliens who have played by the rules." (agree)

Support mandatory employment verification systems?: YES Would order all employers to use an electronic employment verification database to confirm work status. (agree)

Curious, how do you support the building of a fence to keep out the illegals, but also maybe agree with birthright citizenship for the off-spring of those same illegals the fence is designed to keep out?

Birth citizenship doesn't apply to the offspring of illegals only. It applies to all offspring. The offspring of LPRs, for example.

Calling them offspring feels weird, it's like we're discussing plants or something.

Man is made by his belief. As he believes, so he is.
