Well as I said - I've apologised to you. Numerous times. You can either accept it, or not. But there it is.

Up to you whether you keep trotting out these old posts - but I think you'll find my road is a lot less "low" than you want to make it.

One question - when you quoted that "ethically & morally bankrupt" post in the thread the other day - didn't you say you saved it as a bookmark?

Considering why we all know each other - legal immigration & all....to claim we need to remove the emotion from the debate seems - well, silly. Not to mention impossible.

I think its entirely possible to have a discussion without getting angry or outraged - I don't think that sort of negativity really serves the purposes of a legitimate discussion. So no I don't think its silly or impossible, but I also acknowledge that its more difficult for some than others.

Weren't you saying something a few pages ago along similar lines - about judgmental attitudes?

Well I did and you did. I'm just wondering why a bookmark to a post in a live database would show my old username listed over the post. When I clicked on the thread link next to the post it listed the author as Number 6 (as it would), not Fishdude. Are you sure you haven't been saving this stuff offline?

Well on the first page alone I'd say Drew and Tik managed it pretty well. VJ Troll did a good job too - until that race card comment was tossed into the mix.

People get impassioned about all kinds of things - including politics and religion and yet are able to have civil discussion even when they disagree. Just because we have a direct personal connection to the subject matter - it doesn't mean that the thing can't be talked about without people frothing at the mouth.
