Police Reports

The Japanese embassy are playing silly beggers with me about my police report.

As some other people have reported, they require the packet 3 request to issue it.

And it takes 3 months to get!

After crying for a whole day, we're now in war mode.

So here's my question.

Where on an official US site does it say that I need a police report from any country that I've lived in since .....

I've been relying on VisaJourney so much that I now can't find any information on the official sites.

Thanks!

Jo

There is a scan of a packet 3 from London here http://www.visajourney.com/gallery/thumbna...y&uid=30186 . Maybe you could use a print of those pages plus a letter from yourself explaining why you need the police report.

17th March 2010 - Started the removal of conditions process

22nd March 2010 - Application received by CSC

30th April 2010 - Biometrics appointment

Hey Jo,

Write to your TD, ask them to contact the Irish Foreign Minister on your behalf. I also believe that the Irish Ambassador to Japan is Brendan Scannell. Go see him or contact someone in his office. The squeeky wheel gets the oil!!!

Good luck - give 'em hell!!

Ronan

i-710 Process

02/23/2011 - Mailed off i-751 to California

02/25/2011 - NOA1

Thanks all

We have a 20 step game plan!

With things like writing to the ambassador,

calling the us embassy,

bringing our Japanese Photo Album,

crying,

kicking,

screaming ...

We'll get it eventually!

Thanks for the links, they were exactly what I was looking for!
