Ok I'm not complaining or anything, but my case was forwarded to the Amman embassy within 1 week of approval. Is that normal? Should I be concerned? I was reading some other peoples timelines and this step took about a month or more!

Case was approved by the CSC on 3/28/06 and sent to Amman embassy on 4/7/06.

I'm sure this is OK... I take it as a good sign. Most cases don't take long to be forwarded to NVC (with the exception of ours)... I wish you luck... you be OK.... :yes::thumbs::star:

3/24/11 Received 10 year Green Card in the mail - Done. Feels good :-) 'till we do this again for US Citizenship.

12/5/11 mailed packet for Naturalization

12/9/11 was received by USCIS.

4/6/12 received letter for fingerprint appn.

4/23/12 9am fingerprint appointment - done :-)

4/30/12 Recieved Letter for Interview - Sche. 5/31

5/31/12 Interview & Testing

5/31/12 Testing Approved - Waiting for next step

6/21/12 Rcvd email, placed application in the oath sched. que :-)

6/25/12 Rcvd letter - Oath Ceremony is on 7/11/12 @ 9:15am :-)

I don''t think you need to worry. Ours was forwarded to Algiers about 12 days after our approval. I read somewhere that they send them all in a big batch every few days or so, so maybe you just got lucky and yours got sent in the first outgoing batch!

5/11/06 Legal Marriage

11/4/06 Wedding

8/04/06 Case transferred to CSC

8/8/06 Case received at CSC

9/21/06 Greencard received!!!!
