Hey... I have a quick question for a friend. He has applied for his wife which lives abroad for a K-3 visa. He wants to know if she will have to do a medical exam before coming over to the US when they get approved. His lawyer said the exam will be here. I thought that was inaccurate info... but i hope you guys can explai it to me.

Thanks

the embassy in which his wife is applying for the k3 visa will tell her where to go for the medical in the country where she is applying from when she get to that stage, then she will have to come to US with her vaccination worksheet/record so she can transcribe it to form i-693 from a civil surgeon recomend by uscis to submit along with her AOS application when she get to US.

Lawyer has his head where the sun don't shine.

Unless he's talking about seeing a designated civil surgeon also.

Never heard of anyone not having to have a USCIS medical in their home country before coming to the US.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!
