I have been using this site to help me alot so i finally decided to join.

i was wondering about my fiance's medical exam.

Hepatitis B is on a list i found for vaccination requirements and my fiance has hep b...so i was wondering if that will be a big problem...i hope not.

He has been treated for about 10 years now and still being looked at by his doctor and taking medication.

So shoud i be really worried about not getting the this visa???

What kind of documents would he need to show....i just don't know exactly what to tell him. I know this step will be later on but i just want to have everything ready when he needs it.

Has anyone else dealt with having hep b and getting the k1 visa??

I just really want everything to work out cause if this visa doesn't work i don't know what i will do ...i just want to be with the one i love...

Hepatitis B does not necessarily disqualify your fiance from obtaining a visa. It is not on the CDC's list of communicable diseases of public health significant. Your fiance should tell the doctor that he has Hepatitis B so that he is not given the vaccine for it.

A concern you might have is having to pay for his medical costs when he comes to the US. The consular officer might want to know if you are capable of providing for his medical care prior to him obtaining his own insurance.
