was it on sale? people are stocking up for thanksgiving :) the shelves at the grocery store this morning were bare on most baking items and cream cheese cos it was on sale like 10 for $10

Well they had the big one, but I wanted the small one. Hey was that 10 for $10 at Kroger's? I was like what can I make with cream cheese? :)

I worked in grocery retail for many years...heavy cream is usually only carried during the holiday season - it just doesn't sell any other time of the year. I've seen Trader Joe's carry it though out of season. :)

schnucks is where that was at...hey if anyone is near a schnucks you can buy $5 worth of kraft products for the next few weeks and get a $3 off coupon for your next visit...so 5 things of cream cheese that is $1 and then get a $3 coup....my aunt told me about it cos I was saying I will making some cheesecake this week.

Wow, you all are really ahead of the curve for getting prepared for Thanksgiving. I usually wait until the weekend before Thanksgiving.

Speaking of places to go.... I love Costco's Pecan and Pumpkin Pies! :yes:
