G'day Aussies. We have received our NOA2 and expect to be hearing from the embassy in the next couple of weeks. My question is, does the Sydney consulate require the I-134 or I-864?

I'm fairly certain, from reading other's experiences with the Sydney Consulate, that they require the I-134 just like most of them. I think the I-864 might be required later down the track. We're just starting our journey so perhaps someone that's been through it may shed some more light. Good luck with the rest of your journey

Firstly....Congrats Andy on the approval Has the petition been forwarded to NVC yet to be assigned a case number? It will possibly take a little longer then a couple of weeks but still.....you are on the home stretch.

K visas require the I-134. The I-864 is not used until you adjust status in the US. Have a read of the pinned I-134 thread in the Foreign Embassy Forum for some pointers.
