Quick question. My fiance got ahold of couriers today, because he got his police report. The embassy told him it would be 1-2 days for him to get his visa back after they picked up his information. The couriers told him 7-10 WORKING days!?? Is that correct? I don't understand why the embassy would lie if that's the case?

Has anyone ever had to send things back in though after being at the embassy? He has to send in his police report and passport to get his visa. The courier that picked it up today told him 7-10 days was right because of how long it would take the embassy to process it!? I'm so confused..and annoyed!!

If you go back through the interview thread, i'm sure you'll find plenty of people who had to send something in to have their visa finally issued.

just from memory, I think that you'll find that the wait varies but I'm sure that the embassy has the most up to date info on how long it's taking them to turnaround in situations like yours.

Hope it's not too long for you!!:thumbs:

For people who have had the interview and then later had to send in extra/different info to the embassy, 7 to 10 days sounds about right. Probably more like 7 than 10 though.
