what what??? okay so am i having a twilight zone moment? i couldve sworn the date was earlier this year. nuninu nu....

either way... hahaha its been a month since anyone posted on this thread so i figured id write something so people are reminded of the date and where... YESS!!!!! irvine is the way to go!

anywhoo, i just wanted to greet everyone and people in this thread a very merry christmas. hope you guys are all hustlin and bustlin about... im freaking out. cooking dinner for two but this time it will be 1 fiesta.... just in case anyone is interested, im attempting to make the ff for tonight:

Bihon Guisado (pansit)

Lechon kawali ( coz we cant afford to buy or finish 1 full lechon)

fried chicken wings ala MAX (cox max glendale is too far)

and for dessert Leche Flan ( i have my lanera ready. bought it way back in march. ill be using it for the first time! hahahah)

attempting is the word for the day coz i have never tried making the bihon, fried chicken and Leche flan on the lanera.... hihihi. Enjoy your christmas dinner folks. maligayang pasko sa inyong lahat :)

PS. Steven, congratulations to you and guapa :) woohoo!

Hi Annie! It all sounds delicious! We were invited to one of Jinky's distant relative house tonight in Garden Grove....lots of great Filipino dishes....Binignit ...it was delicious! Oh we ate so much! The party didn't start until 9pm and we didn't leave until after 1am. Maayo Pasko kanimo! We're looking forward to meeting you both soon! Peace.

wow i didn't even see this post until now! count abdou and i in for the spectrum meet up! games and drinks sound fun!!! :D

a note to everyone though: we tried to go last weekend to dave and busters and they wouldn't let my husband drink because he only has his moroccan passport (not a california ID)

so get prepared ahead of time with IDs if you want to drink! ;)

At the beginning of the year, I will make the reservations for us. However, everyone is still invited to RSVP and join us at any time (we'd love to have you all there). By the by, I have added Sereia "Abdou & Jhen" to the definite list (((YEAH))). MarilynP it would be an absolute bonus if you are able to attend, but we do understand. Hey, there is always next time ;) .
