Any news from the Cali meet-up?

We had 7 VJ couples: Ahmari & Jhen (Sheriff Uling, who arranged everything), Steven & Jinky, Wes and Shiela, Neil & Annie (YnaYeBa0808), Dan & Gemvita, Devilette and her husband, and Lai & me. Also present were two friends of Neil & Annie. We arrived at the Fox Sports Bar at 5pm; Ahmari and Jhen were there already. The rest flowed in over the next hour. Our plans were changed several times; the end result was we didn't go to the Cheescake Factory, but had dinner at the Fox Sports Bar. We went over to Dave & Busters for a short time, but it was rather loud there and not conducive to socializing, so we left there around 10 and went our separate ways. I believe a good time was had by all, and some new friends (in the "real world") were made. Our waiter was Clark Kent, or at least a somewhat reasonable facsimile whom we dubbed "Clark" :P A number of photos were taken, the acceptable ones of which will show up eventually.

How early were you expecting us back? We party like rock stars... :yes::no:;) So most of us went home rather late OLD MAN... Hehehehe!!! :lol:

Oh, by the by, I didn't really feel like an organizer, but more of a facilitator for a real world VJ get-together. I’m glad that everyone was very flexible and accommodating to the on the fly changes that were made. Not to mention, the folks are Foxs Sports Grill (staff and management) let us do whatever we wanted. Kudos!!!

It ended up working out best being at Fox Sports Grill because we had the entire room by ourselves so we didn't have to yell just to hear each other, and the waiter was really attentive. Thank you, Sheriff for facilitating - we really couldn't have asked for a better table and room for the meetup. :star:

We took only 2 photos from the meetup....I'll try to get them up later today.

Claudeth and I are sorry we had to miss the get-together but my daughter was in town and they wanted us to go with them to Huntington Beach. I am glad to hear everyone had a great time.

OTHER NEWS: I was rather shocked because there wasn't a creepy person looming in the darkness watching us nor was there a freaky hand-written note wishing us well... Hello... I'm glad to know that they actually did receive the memo telling them to kick rocks or come through me beforehand.
