Having it in Feb. is right in the middle of my sleeping cycle. :lol: :lol:

I wish all have a good time and I am No. cal person but am on the East coast at the moment.

Thanks, Yogi! Maybe when we visit Jelly Stone Park, if you're not in your sleep cycle, we can hang out and feast on picnic basket or two. :D

We are interested in taking a weekend trip down to LA for the meetup. Anyone have suggestions for hotels, or other things to do while in LA?

I'm not sure about hotels (there are many good ones to choose from, I just don't know enough to recommend), but as for things to do, it depends on what kinds of things you'd like. There are endless possibilities here.

Oh Dan, there's so much to see and do! It really depends on what you like. I'd recommend going to a travel agency for the best deals. This site can help give you some ideas. :)

LA Meet-up Part II:

Alright then! All of the tentative attendees should have received a PM from me soliciting to see if we could move your status from tentative to definite because I am going to make the reservation on Monday, January 7, 2008 (I feel like a campaign manager checking up on the 1's and 2's... :)). No pressure because you are all welcomed to come down to hang out with us even after the reservation is made. I'm figuring that after the eating and hanging out with the group, some folks will hang out at the bar and/or in the game room in smaller groups, play some pool, and/or hit the game room floor to try their luck / show off their skills. Hehehe! At the least, it's another opportunity to hang out in a different venue and spend time with your loved ones.
