My wife's passport was finished last week but my stepdaughter's was rejected because of a missing affidavit on the late registered B.C. The NSO told her today to come back on the 23rd to pick up the B.C. with the affidavit. It doesn't look like the passport will make it for either the physical or interview since rush processing for passports is 8 working days now. Do we reschedule the interview and they go when my stepdaughter has her passport or should my wife still take the physical, and they both go to the interview anyway knowing that the embassy requires the passport ? And will they even make it past the prescreeners ? I just bought a plane ticket to be there to :crying: :crying: .

Tough one as St.Lukes stamps the passport proving you've completed the medical and forwards it to the USEM for the interview.

Reschedules take about 2 months plus depending on the load of petitions.

You would almost be better of continuing with the I-130s if they made it to NVC.

CRs a cheaper and WAY better visas.

It will cost you $1,610 to adjust status for the K3/K4. Plus $100 a head for the DS 157s.

Cost you $830 for the CR-1/CR-2.

Plus they get GCs and SS Cards shortly after arrival in the US.

Some K3/K4s wait for a LONG time to get them.

Been there! Done both!

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!
