Next step after NOA2

I was reading the guide and it says the next forms for the IR-1 are the OF-169 & OF-230; however, they are not listed on the USCIS site. I am curious what they are, whats on them. I am trying to get everything together so there is no delay in processing on my end. Anyone know?

The OF-169 is just a form stating specifically what documents you need to gather in preparation for your interview. I found a thread explaining it, and an example form that is from the Phillipines, but our form is basically the same. Here's an example:

The OF-230 is just the DS-230, which you can find here: http://www.state.gov/m/a/dir/forms/ from the NVC website.

Btw, I spent about 45 minutes a few days ago reading your blog, and just thought I would say you did a fantastic job:) Not sure if writing is what you do for a living, but I really enjoyed reading about your experience with Canadian immigration, and found your sense of humor through it all admirable. (I almost peed my pants laughing over the Tim Horton's Iced Coffee story, and a few times found my self shaking my head over the hoops they made you jump through just to enroll "The Kid" in school.)

Sorry to hear Canada put you through so much hassle. Bad Canada, bad.
