Most consulates will automatically extend the NOA2.

If you want you can send them a letter to request an extension. There is an example on this page: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...p;page=examples

Thanks for your response! That's what I thought but I have not received an extended NOA yet and did no want that to hinder my process nor be a reason for them to deny my fiance to come to the US.

I guess I'll give them a call tomorrow...just want to stay one step ahead of them. It would be horrible for them to deny us after I've waited so long for something so small like that.
