They have Cadbury chocolate here, no worries.

The Cadbury's chocolate in the US is made by Hershey's under contract and is actually a Hershey's recipe with a Cadbury's label and is nowhere near as yummy.

johandmary: Tim Horton's are only in a few Eastern states.

Coffee Crisp are now in the US, imported from Canada. You may have to search to find them though, not all stores will carry them.

I see coffee Crisps once in awhile at the Dollar Tree here in the LA area

and I have heard that the Tim Horton's in the US aren't quite the same as the ones in Canada

I'll need to bring cases of Alpha Ghetti for my daugther, and Cadbury's chocolate...lol

mmmm, I loved alphagetti even as an adult  ....

one of my favourite comfort food meals was alphagetti and a lightly toasted bagel with cheese whiz  YUM!! YUM!!!

i want some now!!

the cheese whiz down here tastes more like nacho dip .. yuck!!

I really should have brought some back with me last time I was there but I figured the big tin of hienz Ketchup was enough for my suitcase to handle ..

The Tim's products are the same (all of it comes from the head office in Burlington ON, including the donuts), but I don't think that the US stores stick to the 20 minute rule for their brewed coffee. If you buy a tin of it though and take it home, its just the same as the tinned Tim's in Canada.

The tinned Tim's, US or Canadian, just isn't the same a a fresh Tim's from a Canadian Tim's. I'm assuming the same as you, Reba. I don't think they throw out the coffee that's more than 20 minutes in the US.

It really seems to matter where you live eh? We have Mars bars and Coffee Crisp here. And like you Marilyn, the Coffee Crisp is available in the Dollar Stores hehe

The Cadbury I found IS made in Canada. I know what you mean about the Hershey stuff Reba. Rolo's are one of my favourite, and they're made by Hershey's, and you can't tell me it's the same...ick!

My son brought me down Smarties, can't find them here in Missouri. Oh wait..yes you can. They have "Smarties" here that are what we called "rockets" in Canada and only gave out on Halloween! Weird!

Definitely bring down Cheeze Whiz...

My Aunt is currently up in TO visiting family (she lives in Florida) and she's stopping by here on her way back down. I emailed my Mum and my sister with a shopping list for my Aunt to bring back with her  Cadbury's chocolate, and Shreddies and Tim's included :D As well as some other stuff.

Its almost time for my annual Christmas order to Canadian Favourites and the British Pantry though.

The only thing I can imagine bringing back from Canada is the Ketchup Chips and Harvey's Hamburgers (The restraunt). Everything else I could easily pass on since I never liked them to begin with.

Oh and I have never noticed a difference between Kraft dinner here and Kraft dinner in Canada. Taste the same to me, but then again I don't put any weird stuff on it either.

I know I've heard people putting ketchup on it (gag) and my one friend used to make it with saurkraut (gag). Is there any other bizzare things people have put on their Kraft dinner? Only extra I add is just some salt and that's all (oh and I use a small bit of soy milk because I like my Kraft dinner on the drier side)...
