Hey Gang :)

My sweetie (The USC) has two previous trespassing convictions. One was under the age of 18, the other was in his early 20's. He's 28 now. The first time he was in a park after hours, went to court and had to pay a fine.

The second time, him and some friends went to this abandoned building or something on Friday the 13th, again, went to court, paid a fine.

Other than that, his record is clean. He's not even sure if the first one is even on his record anymore. His mom works at the courthouse in his town and she is able to check his file to see if it's on there or not.

He has to declare these on the K1 Petition, correct?

I have no convictions whatsoever. :innocent:

Will two simple trespassing convictions affect our petition at all?

Your sweetie needs to read the questions on the I-129F carefully and answer them accurately. If any answers are "yes" then he needs to comply with the instructions given for yes answers.

We haven't actually ever looked at the I-129F Petition paper..so we will do that now and check it out.

I didn't see anything from Part C : #2 that listed "Tresspassing" or something similiar. I think you're good on this one. Good luck with the process. :thumbs:

05/29/2007 : NOA1

09/28/2007 : NOA2 (144 days from filing date)

11/02/2007 : NVC Received Case (35 days from NOA2)

11/06/2007 : NVC Sent Case to HCM Consulate

11/16/2007 : HCMC Received Case

11/17/2007 : HCMC Sent Packet 3

11/20/2007 : HCMC Received Packet 3

12/10/2007 : HCMC Called Fiancee (Packet 4 Sent + Interview Date)

12/18/2007 : Packet 4 Received

01/02/2008 : Medical Appointment

01/09/2008 : Interview passed!

01/29/2008 : Visa Received

02/02/2008 : POE @ SFO
