Hello,

I had some trouble with getting my EAD card, basically my Biometrics information didn't go through to EAD application. It's been already approved but they can't produce my card because of that.

Please see my post below if you want some detail.

I actually made a phone call to congressman office after I made first trip to local district office and fax the letter explains my situation along with NOA and evidence of biometrics, as they requested. Next day, one lady in congressman office called me and said she actually had chance to talk to USCIS service representative and was able to verify my status and my EAD has been already approved about a month ago, but they didn't pull my finger prints out of my biometrics record, because my biometrics information only shows the receipt number of I-485. That's stupid. Anyway, I made another appointment thru infopass and when I went to local office again, one of their officer really helped me out to resolve my problem. He was so nice and very helpful, he made couple of phone calls to NBC & NCSC and went back to their office to ask some questions. He even sent an email to NBC about my EAD card. Finally he said I'll receive my EAD card shortly and he gave me a copy of email for my record. Thanks God!! Do you think I just walked out then? No.. I wanted to take my chance, there's no guarantee that you're gonna face him again...hehe..

I'm planning to move out to Virginia in 2 weeks, so I was concerning about having delay on my FBI-name-check-pending I-485. When I told him about moving, he made another quick trip to the back! He was amazing! He talked to some other officer in the back and gave me the form to fill out. He said he will put my I-485 address change form on top of my application file and they will keep my file in their office instead of sending over to the new local district office. Once they receive my FBI name check result back, then they will send my 'approved' file to the local district office in my new address. That way they don't have to reopen or go over my file again and my process won't have any delay. Yayyyyy!

They actually put some comment papers on the stand that I usually ignore, but I wrote some comments with his name and thank you to him. I thought he deserves to get some great feedback, don't you think?
