I realize the answer to this is probably out there, but I need an answer pretty quick and can't waste time fishing through all of this......

My husband rec. his Packet 3.5 and it includes the aff. of support......I was told by someone that since we've already done it through NVC all he has to do is include a note explaining it's already on file......is this accurate? I understand, also, he'll need the updated financial information come time for the interview. Can anyone verify this information or correct anything I have wrong please?

Wishing the best and quickest for everyone.

It is always the safe thing to do, to bring copies and the origionals of every thing sent in, so the IO can look at the origionals, and keep a copy of anything for the file.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

My lawyer told me that I did not have to resubmitt the Affadvit of support forms again. So i didn't. I did submit everything else that they asked for hope this helps.

It is mentioned in Packet 3.5 booklet that it is NOT REQUIRED to submit AOS if it was already submitted to NVC before by the spouse in US. So there is no need to send it later. To be on the safe side, write and send a two liner letter along with the docs mentioning when AOS was submitted and approved by the NVC and therefore thats why it isnt included in the docs.
