Hey Guys,

I would like to know what do you need as proof of ongoing relationship???

My Fiance HATES e mails and we don't talk on the phone more than once a week (he says it's too hard on him cause it makes him miss me more.........)

I DO have e mails from my future in laws, his parents write to me at least once a week....

There's no way I could fly to the US again before we are approved and have the Interview and he can't come to Germany either due to not having a passport and work.

To be honest I'm worried we'll be denied.........

This IS a real relationship,I even have my Engagement Ring to show to them, but he simply doesn't write e mails much less letters or cards in snail mail........

Please help!

If you don't use email to communicate just make sure that you have evidence from whatever means of communicating that you do use. Or are you saying that you only communicate once a week?

Still, if that's all you have that's all you have. You'll just have to take it along and explain to them at the Embassy, it's not like you can make something appear that doesn't exist. Could you talk your fiance into communicating a bit more between now and the interview? Just a thought.

Good luck anyway.

If he does not send you emails or snail mails, I just hope that you do send him snail mails or emails even if you know he will not open his pc to read them. My husband is the same way, so he will bring in the snail mails and emails I sent him, as well as phonecard receipts, money transfer receipts and etc.

Ya I e mail him, send him snail mail and packages........call him and so on.

But he doesnt like doing any of the above, and thats not only with me.In 30 months I got maybe 10 e mails from him.

I guess around the time we get NOA 2 ,and he knows it aint long anymore until I'm home with him he will change again. He always does go back to "normal" once he knows I'm there soon.

Get copies of phone bills even if its not that frequent and copies of all your emails. And also if you have pictures that show tat you have met and as much other proof of the relaitonship in general, add it. I also got a statement from my parents and from a friend of mine who had met my fiance saying that they knew about hte relationship... in love and all that stuff. IF you can get somehing like that from his and your parents, that would be good. A lawyer told me to add those letters. ç

10/16/07 Sent off our I-129F petition

10/18/07 Delivery confirmation from CSC

10/26/07 Check was processed and I got our case number! NOA1 is supposedly in the mail.

11/09/07 Touched for the very first time!! Exciting!!!

That really sounds weird but some poeple are like that. Just give him what you have and hope the best. You might also want to let him know how important it is to proof that you guys are having a real relationship. Why would he take the risk to get denined? I wish you good luck!

That's not fishy thats just my man.....

And nope I don't like it but he has ALWAYS been that way.In the 2 !/2 years we have been together I got a total of 8 e mails from him.He doesn't even e mail his parents, didn't even do so while he was deployed to Iraq......

We DO have a REAL relationship and ya I can provide lots of e mails ,cards and stuff from his parents. And there's dozens of ppl that know we have a REAL relationship but he doesn't see the point in changing for the USCIS.He's hard headed as can be.

Of course I can also provide my phone bills with his number on there........

Yep it's driving me insane but that's HIM.

So in other words I will ask his parents for letters ,our best friends and petty much everyone that knows about us TRULY being TOGETHER AND IN LOVE.

Gee I got an 800$ Engagment Ring,I manage his bank account ,talk to his family all the time, have met his parents ,siblings and even the Grandparents........

God how I hope we get NOA 2 and he's not this epressed anymore and it doesn't hurt him this much anymore to talk to me............

It has ALWAYS been like this when I was in the US with him and had to go back,he falls into his black hole and says it's driving him crazy and makes him miss me so much more the more we talk to each other........

I have a whole book full of pictures of us with friends and family..........

Sometimes I wish that man wouldn't be quite as hrad headed as he is.

Send what you have - it's ok that you send less than 10 e-mails, and it is good that they're from over the last 2.5 years. I had TONS of e-mails saved, but I only sent 5 and a couple were from my husband.

I would, if I were you, focus more on your communication with your fiance, and not as much as the in-laws, since you're proving your relationship with your fiance - not the parents.

You can send copies of your phone bills, your e-mails and packages...

eeek.

Send what you have as the others have said, that's all you can do really. I hope he realizes that you guys have to prove you are in a bona fide relationship  but, I'm sure you will be fine.

Best of luck to you! :)

Germany isn't what I would consider a high fraud country, so you're probably ok with the evidence you have. I'd be worried for you if you were coming through Eastern Europe or the Phillipines. Still, it never hurts to have as much evidence as possible, so get that man to write more. :) Best of luck to you.

We submitted a lot of strong evidence for the I 129F such as pictures,Hotel Receipts with both our names on it.........

It's just the proof of ongoing relationship evidence that worries me a little. But then again there's tons of ppl that can testify to the fact that he HATES e mails.

I think we'll be ok though.

Hopefully

You will be ok... Just use whatever you have in hand and believe that you can both make it. My then fiance (now husband) didn't like sending me snail mail (due to irregularities in our postal system), but I did so I wrote him at least once a week. He sent back those letters to me for my interview but the CO just took the recent ones (letters sent within 2 months before my interview). Having said this, why don't you just send him more snail mail? By the time you got the interview, you have some to use as evidence of on-going relationship, right? As for the email, he (the CO) just look at those that we sent along in our K1 packet.

Good luck!
