got AP from Casablanca

hi evrybody,

I got this email from casablanca consulate says " ****'a case requires administrative processing in Washington, DC. We will notify her as soon as we can continue with the case".

so if somone knows about casablanca consulate, how long i should wait plz ? and thats mean my visa refused?

There are 2 221g forms that Casa gives out. One is like yours that say for administrative processing. The other says it's being returned to the States. Sounds like you have the better of the 2. This one is given for security checks and if all goes well with that they should issue the visa. No one can tell you how long these checks take. It could be days, weeks or even months.

I wouldn't worry too much. For one, you have the simple 221G that means you are undergoing security checks. The fact that they kept the passport is a really good sign, that means they don't suspect a long wait.

Of course this should never be construed as a sure thing, but I think you will hear from them soon.

i have the same situation that you have, they keep my passport too and they told me to keep the paper that say you case nees some more additionel pross.
