The funniest thing I have seen with my cats and static was when I had those "health bedsheets" , some sort of fleece I guess. I turned the light off to go to bed and one of my cats was sleeping under the bedsheets. She then try to get out of the bed, and all I could see in the dark was blue sparkles because she was rubbing her fur between the sheets!! She got scared and started moving faster and increased the static and it was like Fireworks!

Besides I'm so careful with my girls..they are my great company when Gary and Robin not home , and since Mags told me about cat loved to lick their fur I stop giving them a highlights!

Until you get a humidifier Luz, know that you can have a portable one, that plugs into the wall, or even get an attachment for your furnace. Until then, just put a big pot of water in the living room, and the air will soak up the moisture in the interm.
